In keeping with the Government’s agenda to advance Vocational and Technical Education in Ghana the Mission is making efforts towards collaborative partnerships with Canadian Institutions. Focusing on training of Trainers for Ghanaian Technical and Vocational institutions the Mission is exploring the possibility of partnership with British Columbia of Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the Commonwealth of Learning all based in the province of British Columbia.
The Mission has initiated discussions with the Innovation Division of Ministry of Advanced Education Skills and Training of British Columbia for the development of educational curriculum for the vocational and technical institutions.
Simon Fraser University has also agreed to develop curriculum in the area of entrepreneurial training for students as part of their course, by way of innovation for Ghanaian Universities. This initiative will enable students after their course to start their own businesses if so desired. This will involve training of trainers.
